When Should You Delete PDF Pages?
One caution about what deletion does and does not remove. The pages disappear from the document structure, but anything that referenced them stays behind: a table of contents still lists them, internal links still point at them, and page numbers drawn onto the remaining pages keep their original values. If the document had any of those, check them after deleting rather than assuming remove the unwanted pages in seconds.

Deleting Pages Versus Redacting Content
Removing pages here rebuilds the document from the pages you kept: the retained page objects are copied into a new file and a fresh page tree is written. The deleted pages, and any objects only they referenced, are not carried over. They are genuinely absent from the output rather than hidden.
This distinction matters for anything sensitive. Some tools "remove" a page by marking it invisible or by appending an incremental update that hides it, which leaves the original bytes recoverable in the file. That is not what happens here — the discarded pages are never written to the new document. What this tool does not do is redact content within a page you keep. Drawing a black rectangle over a paragraph in any PDF editor hides it visually while leaving the text extractable underneath; deleting the whole page is the reliable way to remove it.
Because a valid PDF must contain at least one page, you cannot delete every page. Bookmarks that pointed at removed pages are dropped, and links whose target no longer exists become inert.
