Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026 ยท oneconvert.net
1. The Service
OneConvert provides free browser-based tools for converting and processing files โ PDF, images, QR codes, units, text and colours. All processing runs locally in your browser. No files are uploaded to any server.
2. Use
You may use OneConvert freely for personal and commercial purposes. No account, licence or attribution is required, and there is no limit on how many files you process or how large they are โ the only practical constraint is your device's available memory.
You may not use the service to process files you do not have the right to use, or for any unlawful purpose. Because all processing happens in your browser, we have no technical ability to see what you convert, which means enforcement of this rests entirely with you.
Automated or bulk access โ scripting the tools, embedding them in another service, or scraping the pages at volume โ is not covered by this permission. The source is available on GitHub if you want to run the tools yourself or build on them.
3. No Warranty
OneConvert is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We are not responsible for data loss, file corruption or other damage arising from use of the tools.
This matters more than the usual boilerplate, because the tools operate on your own files. Conversion is not always lossless: compressing an image discards detail permanently, converting a PDF to greyscale replaces text with pixels, and extracting text from a PDF cannot reproduce its layout exactly. Each tool's page explains what its particular operation changes or discards. Always keep the original until you have checked the result.
4. Advertising
OneConvert displays advertisements from Google AdSense to fund the free service. Ads are subject to Google's advertising policies โ.
5. Availability
We provide this service on a best-effort basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.
6. Third-Party Services
Some tools load open-source libraries from public content delivery networks (pdf-lib, pdf.js, heic2any and similar) so that the conversion can run in your browser. Those requests fetch program code only โ your files are never included. Advertising is served by Google AdSense and anonymous usage statistics by Google Analytics, both only after you accept cookies. The Privacy Policy sets out what each of them receives.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
